Job description
As an engineer, you are responsible for carrying out and coordinating drawing and technical design tasks, as well as general preparatory work for systems. Your tasks include:
• Supporting the project team in planning and directing drawing and design activities for technical systems;
• Translating technical specifications into practical, effective, and technically sound solutions;
• Creating production drawings that serve as a basis for procurement and proper execution in production;
• Supporting the production team during the installation of components, with the goal of achieving a high-quality end result together.
You regularly coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and your colleagues.
You ensure clear information exchange and provide advice in an approachable and professional manner.
Requirements
What do you bring?
• You hold a secondary vocational (MBO 4) or bachelor's degree (HBO) in Mechanical Engineering or a maritime-related field;
• You have extensive work experience in the maritime industry;
• Experience in a similar role is a plus;
• You have a good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
In addition to your knowledge and experience, the client places great value on your personality.
You have a positive attitude, are proactive, communicate clearly, and know how to organize your work independently. At the same time, you enjoy working as part of a team and take responsibility within it.
