At NHL Stenden’s annual career fair, students from the Maritime Technology programme and related studies had the chance to explore the maritime world beyond the classroom. At the stands of various companies, they engaged in conversations about internships, graduation projects, and the first steps in their careers.
Recruiter Jean from Maritime Professionals was present to speak with students, offering practical insights into working in the maritime sector and helping them identify roles that match their interests and academic background. Students also had the opportunity to connect with a young engineer from Marimecs, who is already active in the field alongside his studies. An inspiring example of how education and real-world experience can go hand in hand.
Between conversations, the prize wheel at the Marimecs stand added a fun touch to the event. With a spin, students could win various giveaways, including cool t-shirts that spoke to every aspiring engineer.
A successful day full of networking, inspiration, and a step closer to a future in maritime technology.
