Job description
The Project Engineer Construction is responsible for the design and engineering processes within a project in order to achieve an integrated, complete and approved engineering package, within the applicable preconditions.
- Developing and monitoring the design in consultation with the client team and interior architect;
- Participating in client team meetings and steering on high-quality and timely results within the budget;
- Coordinating the information flow between the client team and the internal disciplines within a project;
- Multi-disciplinary integration of the ship's structure;
- Managing, maintaining and monitoring the progress of the construction engineering planning;
- Managing the assigned engineers and external engineering parties within the discipline;
- Monitoring the quality of the design and engineering packages;
- Checking quality and performing internal / external acceptance of the delivery of the construction.
Requirements
We are looking for a professional who is technically strong and works at BSc. level, whereby you bring the following:
- Several years of work experience in a similar position;
- You have good leadership and communication skills;
- Excellent knowledge of the subject matter;
- You have good technical and spatial insight;
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Rhino;
- Keeping an overview and setting priorities;
- Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages;
- A flexible, independent and accurate working attitude;
- You are a result-oriented team player.

They have modern halls and offices at various shipyards in the north of the country. At the largest finishing location of approximately 30,000 square metres, sailing and motor yachts from thirty to ninety metres are built.
Besides custom yachts, they also have a specific division for superstructure and related elements such as sail systems, composites, windbreaks, hatches and doors. Refits are mainly carried out in the Amsterdam region.
